If the hair is too short, the wax won't be able to grab it. If it is significantly longer, our esthetician may trim it slightly prior to waxing to minimize discomfort.
Absolutely not. We strictly adhere to a "no double-dipping" policy for all our waxing services. A brand new, sterile spatula is used for every single application into the wax pot. This is crucial to maintain absolute hygiene and prevent any cross-contamination between clients.
Because waxing involves pulling hair from the root, some level of discomfort is normal, especially during your first visit. However, our highly trained estheticians use premium, gentle waxes and specialized techniques to make the process as quick and painless as possible. Many clients find that the discomfort significantly decreases with regular waxing sessions.
Yes! We offer high-quality hard and soft waxes formulated specifically to be gentle on sensitive skin. We always prep the skin before waxing and apply a soothing, cooling lotion afterward to minimize any redness or irritation. Please inform your esthetician before your service if you have any skin conditions or if you are using medications like Retinol, Accutane, or AHAs.
Waxing results typically last anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks, depending on your individual hair growth cycle. Unlike shaving, which only cuts hair at the surface, waxing removes the entire hair follicle. With consistent waxing appointments every 4 weeks, you will likely notice that your hair grows back finer, softer, and sparser over time.
For the first 24 to 48 hours after waxing, your pores are open and more susceptible to irritation. We strongly recommend avoiding hot baths, saunas, tanning beds, intense sweaty workouts, and tight clothing during this time. Starting a few days after your appointment, gently exfoliate the waxed area 2-3 times a week to prevent dead skin cells from trapping new hair growth, which helps avoid ingrown hairs.
